you use ChatGPT and want it reading your sales, guest lists and schedules - set up through ChatGPT’s developer mode.

ChatGPT connects to AI Connect through its plugin/connector developer mode. As with Claude, you paste one URL and sign in with your WordPress account – the OAuth handshake (client registration, PKCE, consent) is automatic.

Add the connection

  1. Copy your endpoint URL from Venuera → AI Connect → Overview.
  2. In ChatGPT, click your name/avatar (bottom left) → Settings → Plugins → turn on “Developer mode”.
  3. Open Plugins in the ChatGPT sidebar and click the + icon next to the “Search plugins” field.
  4. Paste the endpoint URL into the Connection field and confirm.
  5. Sign in with your WordPress account and approve the requested permissions on the consent screen (each scope has its own checkbox – see permissions & security).
  6. Start a new chat – existing conversations do not see newly added connections.

  • “Give me a sales overview for this month.”
  • “Who from tonight’s guest list hasn’t arrived yet?”

ChatGPT lists your site’s tools on connect and calls them per question – the same tool catalog Claude sees, filtered to your WordPress user’s permissions.

Tip: connections are per WordPress user. If several people on your team use ChatGPT, each should connect with their own WordPress login – every action is then attributed correctly in the Activity log, and each person’s connection carries only their own permissions.
