Member prices at the counter
you run the Venuera Point of Sale and want counter sales priced from the customer standing at the till - never from the cashier logged into it.
At a register there are two people on every sale: the member of staff operating the till, and the customer buying. Member Pricing always prices from the customer – a shop assistant who happens to be a Gold member never hands the Gold price to every walk-in.
How it works
- Attach a customer to the sale (search, create, or scan their account) and the register prices every line from that customer’s audiences – the same price they would get online.
- A walk-in with no account has no membership, so they pay the public price. That is the correct answer, not a fallback.
The setting
With the Point of Sale add-on active, WooCommerce → Settings → Products → Member pricing gains a Point of sale option – whose membership decides the price at the counter:
- The customer on the order (default) – as described above.
- Always the public price – member prices are online-only; the counter always charges the shelf price.
Orders typed in wp-admin
The same rule covers manual orders: when staff add products to an order in wp-admin (a phone booking, say), lines are priced from the order’s customer, not from the staff member doing the typing. A guest order prices at the public price.
