Create a recurring schedule

Recurring Events ·6 min read ·Updated June 2026
You’re here because…

you run the same event on many dates — a weekly class, a nightly show, a tour — and don’t want to create a separate event for each one.

The Recurring Events add-on turns a single Venuera event into a series of dated occurrences from one schedule. You manage one event; buyers pick the date they want.

Turn on recurrence

  1. Edit an event and open its Recurrence settings.
  2. Choose the pattern — daily, weekly (on chosen weekdays), monthly — and the date range it runs across.
  3. Set the time for each occurrence. Recurrence is precise to the minute, and you can express breaks and opening hours rather than a single all-day slot.
  4. Save. Venuera expands the schedule into individual occurrences, each with its own start time.

Why not just duplicate the event?

Because everything stays in one place. One product sells across all dates, reporting rolls up per occurrence, and a change to the description or artwork applies everywhere at once. It also keeps your events list clean instead of cluttered with one entry per night.

How occurrences are identified

Each occurrence has its own start time, which the check-in rules use for time-based windows — so an “event window” rule opens and closes around the right night automatically, even for a long-running series.
