Editing a single occurrence

Recurring Events ·4 min read ·Updated June 2026
You’re here because…

one date in your series is different — a special guest, a moved start time, a one-off cancellation — and you need to change it without touching the rest.

A schedule gives you a consistent series, but real life has exceptions. You can adjust an individual occurrence without affecting the others.

What you can change per date

  • Time — move just one night’s start (e.g. an earlier matinee).
  • Capacity — open more (or fewer) tickets for a single high-demand date.
  • Availability — cancel or hide one occurrence while the rest of the series keeps selling.

The series stays intact

Edits to one occurrence are scoped to that date. The recurrence pattern, the product, the artwork and every other occurrence are untouched — so you get the convenience of a schedule with the flexibility of one-off events when you need it.

Tip: changing a single occurrence’s start time also shifts its time-based check-in windows for that date only, because the rules read each occurrence’s own start.
