Install the POS as a PWA

you want the till to feel like a real app on a phone or tablet — full screen, on the home screen, fast to open.
The POS is a Progressive Web App (PWA), so you can install it to a device’s home screen and run it full-screen like a native till — no app store needed.
Install it
- Open the POS URL in the device’s browser.
- Use the browser’s Add to Home Screen / Install option.
- Launch it from the new icon — it opens full-screen, without the browser chrome.
Why install it
- One tap to open the till at the start of a shift.
- Full-screen, distraction-free interface for staff.
- More resilient to a dropped connection than a normal tab.
Same idea for the door: the Check-in app installs the same way and adds a full offline mode for scanning without signal.
