The POS isn’t only a till — it can also scan tickets and orders, so one device at the counter can both sell and check people in.
Scan a ticket
Scan a ticket’s QR in the POS to check the buyer in. It runs the same check-in rules as the dedicated app — single entry, windows, per-day limits — and returns the same clear result, because the rules engine lives in the core and is shared everywhere.
Look up an order
Scan or search an order to pull up everything a buyer bought — useful when someone arrives with a group and you need to find and admit all their tickets at once.
One counter, two jobs: a small venue can run a single tablet as both the box office and the door. For a busy entrance, give the gate its own phones with the Check-in app.
